A Little of this, a Squidge of that

The last couple of weeks have been pretty uneventful, I've been having a bit of a blip with my health but that's not news, that's normal lol. I'm still not sleeping properly either which isn't helping matters, oh well c'est la vie! Nathan had a flat tyre this morning so he was panicking that he was going to be late for work so I was woken up an hour after falling asleep! Thankfully Superdaddy came and saved the day.
I've almost saved up enough on my surveys to get the digital camera I want, it'll be so nice to be able to take decent photos instead of having to rely on everyone else to take them and send them to me. I wonder what I'll save up for next, I gave up on the pony idea years ago ;)
I'm having lots of fun educating Bennet on how we do things over here and why we're so much better than the Yanks hehe. It's amazing how many things are different over here and how many Americans are completely oblivious to the fact. I am learning more and more how insular the culture is, most of the everyday "Average Joe's" have no idea how much their government, particularly under Bush, has bullied other countries, I wonder how they'd react if they knew? Anyway, enough politics otherwise I'll be here all day, ranting my head off.
That just about sums it up for me so I'll sign off for now.
Au Reservoir!

Oh and one last thing, in a couple of weeks Nathan and I will have been married for 3 years, how weird is that?! And sorry Tracey, no babies as yet.

  1. Hahaha I do believer you spouted off about -MY- complete lack of knowledge! ha ha Let me tell you, I am not a very well informed American. ha ha. I may be giving us a bad name. ;) LOL! Besides! I'm an average Jane. ;)

Aw, you Brits all smug these days XD.

"Au Reservoir!" ...yeah, what? hahaha I speak Spanglish not French! That is so exciting that you would have been together for three years? Gee, Does it seem like so long and nothing at all at the same time? How wonderful. *starry eyed* ha ha :D Love you dear!

  2. Don't worry, I'm not just basing my opinion on your uninformedness, I've spoken to loads of Americans in various forums and they're all as clueless as you :P

Technically Au Reservoir is Franglais (French/English):P Just read Goodbye hehe.

  3. Maybe it's just the forums you go to, the places I hang out have (mainly) intelligent Americans. Well, I had to fine Elizabeth somewhere, didn't I?

  4. Maybe I just end up finding forums that attract total morons lol
Those game sites are usually full of geeks anyway :P and get their knowledge of current affairs from more places than just CNN.
