Here are a couple of vids from my wedding day, many thanks to Liam and associated cronies for making it possible :)
First up here's a montage of clips to the song "A Beautiful Day"
Next we have an unusual take on the wedding, not sure what is being implied with the Deathstar music?!

Indepenence Day
Well this day has been insanely busy, no doubt my body will claim back the expenditure with interest, *sigh* oh well c'est la vie.
First up I was woken up by my darling husband, talking on the phone (really loudly) with his brother. They decided that they were going to meet up today and have a bit of a catch up. This involved us driving all the way to Penzance (yes Bennet, where the pirates come from :P) picking him up and driving all the way back to Redruth. When we got back, after doing battle with insane traffic, we went to have lunch with my Dad and Lil Sis in a nice little cafe we know.
After this we went off to Pool to see Nathan's Mum, his brother doesn't get to see her much because of living so far away. To our pleasant surprise, their Auntie was also there with her 2 daughters (5 and 2 and soo cute!) so my Brother-in-law was able to see them too which was really fortunate as he gets to see them even less than he sees his mum.
After we left there we went to a 4th of July party hosted by an American friend of mine. I found it really amusing how much Nathan and his brother were enjoying winning a game of badminton against a couple of girls almost half their age! Sometimes I really wonder at the competitiveness of boys! LOL. My friend is an awesome cook, she made some lovely fajitas which everyone enjoyed, even my traditional "English food" stickler Father :)
At 7 I had to leave to take my Brother-in-law back to Penzance, which took 2 hours because he left his bag in my car so I had to drive back, I hadn't gone too far thankfully so it wasn't too big a deal. However, this meant that I had to put fuel in the car which cost me more time. When I got back I found out that people were getting a bit concerned at how long I was taking, Nathan in particular. Oops sorry Nath!
Then I went to my friends local pub with her and my Sister which happened to have a Karaoke night, I ended up singing You Gotta Be by Des'ree with the others, Ain't No Sunshine by Bill Withers by myself and finished by Dueting with my Sister to Heaven is a Place on Earth by Belinda Carlisle. Everyone clapped but this could have been out of sympathy ;)
It was about 1:10 am by the time I dropped my Sister home (sorry Dad!) and I didn't get in til half 1.
So all in all a busy day I reckon...
HAPPY 4TH JULY!

Sanity is Over-rated
On Wednesday it was our third wedding anniversary, 3 years married to Nathan! People have got less than that for GBH*! LOL! He got me a CD that I wanted and I got him the Karate Kid Trilogy so we were both happy. He had to work during the day but in the evening we went out for a meal in Helston. It was a really nice place and the food was lovely. One thing I did find funny though was the fact that we were out for our anniversary and our waitress was someone who used to have a thing for Nathan!
Still dealing with poorliness but I'm getting it back under control so it's no big deal.
My friends from Cardiff that I hardly ever get to see were down this week so I got to see them on Thursday, they had some of my soup and didn't die so I'm taking that as a good sign. It was really nice to catch up with them, I was even able to see them again in the evening at Trickies so I was glad I made the most of the time they were down.
I must seem a bit of an alcoholic this week because I went to the pub today too, just meeting up with friends and having a laugh with people who are just as insane as I am. Sanity is over-rated in my opinion anyway.
My favourite quotes of the day
"Getting an education was a bit like getting a communicable sexual disease. It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on"

GBH = Grievous Bodily Harm, kinda like assault and battery
